Commercial Energy Efficiency Programs

Depending on your utility provider, several programs, incentives and rebates are available to offset the cost of upgrades.

Typically these will be in the area of lighting, HVAC, chillers/refrigeration, water heating, as well as building envelope upgrades.

Additionally, the IRS provides tax deductions on a per sqft basis for commercial lighting efficiency upgrades and commercial building efficiency measures.

We also provide energy modeling and certification documents for commercial upgrades, meeting requirements as set forth by the IRS to claim the Tax Deduction.

California Public Sector Energy Efficiency Loan Program

One-percent loans? Yes! Adding American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) - State Energy Program (SEP) funding to California's existing Energy Conservation Assistance Account Program (ECAA), the Energy Commission is providing loans with a low interest rate of 1 percent that can help local jurisdictions invest in energy efficiency, save money, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and build new jobs and industries for their communities. The current ECAA Loan Program is still offering a low interest rate of 3 percent for energy efficiency projects that do not qualify for ARRA funding.
